Aid to audiovisual companies for the development of audiovisual projects in the Community of Madrid in 2022

The purpose of the aid will be to support audiovisual projects for their development as feature films or series, whether they are fiction, documentary or animation, and which can subsequently materialize in an audiovisual work for public exhibition in cinemas, television or digital platforms.

The following audiovisual projects will not be subsidized: short films, live recordings, television games, talk shows, reality shows, educational programs, learning and how-to programs, tourist documentaries, making-offs, reports, news spaces, projects that include pornographic, racist or violence-promoting material, promotional works, institutional productions to promote organizations or their activities, video clips, video games, student stage films or graduation works.

The purpose of the aid will be to finance the expenses to carry out the activities necessary to carry out the audiovisual work, prior to its filming or production. To this end, the following will be understood to be included: the writing and improvement of the script, the search for locations, the visual design, the selection of the cast, the procedures for obtaining economic resources, the initial sales and distribution plans, the advice of third parties in relation to technological aspects of the project, the acquisition of rights and the investigation in archives -in the cases in which it is necessary-, the elaboration of animation pilots, the preparation of the budget and any other that has to do with the development of the project. audiovisual project, according to its specific characteristics.
