Teorema Films is an art house film production and distribution company based in the Basque Country founded by Benito Macías in 2014. We explore the limits of cinematographic language between the codes of essay, sound art, creative documentary and fiction. We mainly provide film editing, sound and post-production work for artists and filmmakers. Since 2020 we offer digitization, restoration and mastering services for films, video and sound.
The projects in which Teorema Films has collaborated have been selected and awarded at numerous national and international festivals (Visions du Reel, San Sebastian, DOK Leipzig, PUNTO DE VISTA), have been broadcast on VOD platforms (MUBI, Filmin) and have been exhibited in museums and galleries (Reina Sofía National Museum, Guggenheim Bilbao, Tabakalera, Elba Benítez Gallery).
